The latest scanner model from PFU Fujitsu - Fi - 8150. The successor to the scanner model Fi - 7140. Workgroup scanner with scanning speed of 50 pages per minute or 100 pages duplex color. PFU Fujitsu has applied as many as 32 patents in the production of a new portfolio of 8th generation scanners. Clear Image Capture is a new technology, launched by PFU Fujitsu for this new scanner models. The new machines have a standard CIS camera manufacturing process, but with new Clear Image Capture technology that uses 3D color conversion to provide users with high color detection, excellent document capture definition, and reduced power consumption, up to 42% less power consumed in comparision to the previous generation models, and in the meantime not losing any speed but on the contrary, now scanning faster than ever. The new ADF paper feeder can now hold up to 100 sheets and has many improvements and new features for efficient and sensitive document handling. The new PFU Fujitsu patented paper tracking system can identify documents that are skewed and will stop the scanner in order to prevent document damage. Same as prevoius generation of scanner, the new models retain the iSOP (Intelligent Sound Protection of Paper) feature, which further contributes to the already high protection of document from tearing. The new models now have an even faster connection, via USB 3.2 and a gigabit LAN connection.
